Celebrating Community Through Giving!

Students in Ms. McKane’s class recently helped organize and prepare 100 birthday boxes to donate to the Seymour-Oxford Food Bank! The Seymour-Oxford Food Bank is one of the Milford campus’s newest work-study sites, currently supporting four of our students each week.

As a way to show our appreciation for this wonderful community partnership, our students helped create boxes filled with everything a family needs to celebrate a birthday. Students practiced real-world skills by comparing prices, shopping for supplies, packaging decorations, and carefully assembling each box.

We hope these birthday boxes bring a little extra joy and help make someone’s special day a little brighter!
