We had a great trip visiting the wall. We looked at the names on the wall of the 58,000+ soldiers killed in the war. We met several Vietnam Veterans, Reggie and Ron who posed for pictures with us. We read biographies of some of the 600 + Connecticut residents who died in the war. Each student received a commemorative Vietnam Veteran lapel pin from a war veteran. The Helping Hands Club made a donation of $25 to the traveling memorial fund. We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park. It was a nice day!
