Science and Technology Fair
Post date:
March 15, 2019Students had fun and learned a lot at the Connecticut State Science Fair at Quinnipiac University. They were able to watch several demonstrations, one using liquid nitrogen to freeze objects and another about electrical magnetism and static electricity. One student was able to touch a Van de Graaff Generator which caused static electricity in his hair. We also watched a demonstration about composting which we hope to implement in our school garden this year. Later we walked around the fair and looked at interesting experiment boards. Fair staff gave each student a Science Fair t-shirt.
