Ride a Painted Pony

Foundation School students worked in Universal Arts to construct and paint two carousel horses for use in the Paper House Production of Mary Poppins Jr.  at Coginchaug High School.  Starting with sheets of plywood, students used hand and power tools to create and finish the horses and then their design and paint skills to finish off the horses.

The horses made such an impression that they are going out on loan to a second company for their upcoming production.
