Representative Kathy Kennedy Visits Foundation School

Kathy Kennedy represents the 119th General Assembly District in Connecticut including our High School on Woodmont Road.  Accompanied by Harrison Brooks from the House Republican Office, Ms. Kennedy mingled with the students and staff as she toured our school and shared a bit about the experiences she has had in a range of positions serving the public and her community.  In 1988, she earned the distinction of being the first civilian woman in the state to earn certification as a fire Marshall and Inspector.

The Representative also sat down with a group of students, answered their questions about how state government works, and even got into a few of the controversial issues currently under consideration in Hartford.
