The Foundation High School Community Garden
Summer is just around the corner, which means it is officially time for the students at Foundation High School to begin work on their annual community garden. This will be the School's second season at Milford Community Garden as students hope to have an even more successful harvest this year. Students and staff cleaned the garden plots and discussed what we would like to grow this year. After weeks of hard work students began planting a variety of vegetables, flowers and herbs. We are excited to have a second plot this year where we will grow "autumn themed" crops including pumpkins, squash and corn. Our thanks to The Milford Recreation Department, Linda Ball, and all the community farmers for their help and support. Here's hoping for a successful and bountiful growing season!
