Our Curriculum
Orange (Ages 3 - 18)
Students are provided with a language-based approach to learning and the supports each individual requires to develop their communicaiton, academic, social and physical competencies:
- Speech and language skills
- Perceptual/motor skills
- Social skills
- Behavioral support
- Pre-academic and academic skills
- Community involvement for experiential and social learning
Milford (ages 16–21)
At The Foundation High School, we build upon previously acquired skills in addition to:
- Activity-based classroom instruction
- Vocational skill training
- Career exploration
- Work-study program
- College coursework when appropriate
- Transition planning among students, families, local education agencies, adult service providers, employers, and post-secondary programs to ensure an optimal transition from school to adulthood
