The Foundation School



Lunch at the Lower and Middle School is provided by the student’s family. The School provides milk at no charge.

At The High School, lunch may be brought from home or purchased at the cafeteria, with ala Carte items and full meals available. The cafeteria is part of a job training program, giving students the opportunity of both preparing and selecting a healthful lunch. The High School also provides a breakfast snack daily.


The Foundation School, Inc. is a not for profit organization recognized as 503(c)3 by The Internal Revenue Service.


The Foundation School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally provided or made available to students at the school; does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.


Students are welcomed beginning at 8 A.M., with instruction beginning at 8:30; dismissal begins at 2:30 P.M.  For special events, parents or an approved driver may secure release of a student prior to 2:00 P.M. at the School Lobby. To insure parking lot safety, no student will be released after 2:00 P.M. except via the dismissal procedure to the vehicle queue.

SS program

In addition to the regular school calendar, The Foundation School provides a summer program (Extended School Year) of approximately twenty days, with hours of 8:00 A.M. through 1:30 P.M.
